Since the date Prince Kumeru
first met Princess Nagi, he can’t sleep and always thinking about her. He
decided to speak to his teacher asking for his advice. His teacher suggested
that Prince should go asking the King and the Queen of Naga for their daughter
to become his wife. Prince prepared his journey to meet the Princess’s parents,
but suddenly a message arrived from the Naga palace asking Prince to meet the
King and the Queen of Naga. As soon as he heard the news, Prince was worry and
happy at the same time. He took his horse riding alone on his way to meet the King and
the Queen. He arrived at the palace and entered in the palace, he saw a beautiful Princess
Nagi sitting next to her father, the Queen came out taking Prince’s hand and
introduced to Princess Nagi telling Prince that Princess Nagi was in love
with Prince and she wanted to marry with Prince. Prince was so shy blushing, smiling
and happy to hear that. He was so in love with the Princess, in love with the
people and in love with the Kok Tlok customs, women asked men to marry with
and women of Kok Tlok were well respected, not like women in his Kingdom where women were treated
so bad, especially his father who always had his mind against his women right
protection. The Queen explained Prince about the Kok Tlok customs; the groom
must come to wed at the bride’s house. Me and Ba of both sides must be
presented at the marriage ceremony. Prince promised the Queen in 7 days, he
will come to marry her daughter. Princess Nagi approached Prince with a
big smile and gave the dupatta back to Prince, but Prince took it and
covered up her half -naked and smiled at her with so much love. Prince returned
back to the camp telling his teacher the good news and informed all his men
about the marriage. Everyone was very happy getting ready and preparing gifts for
a big day.
