Water Kampuchea Kingdom and Land Kampuchea Kingdom (Water Chenla and Land Chenla) From the 6 th century ad to 8 th century ad Kampuchea Kingdom divided in two Kingdoms because Khmer people of south didn’t like the way of Khmer people from north treating them, there were protesters from south against north. King of Kampuchea decided to have his brother ruling in south in order to calm his people. Water Kampuchea was established where was Phnom Kingdom (Funan) and Land Kampuchea where was Kampuchea Kingdom (Chenla), but both practicing the same Hinduism religion.
