The Meeting

The 1st Century ad

A few months later, Prince received the news that the King and Queen of Naga wanted to meet him in their palace. Prince was curious asked himself who were they? Prince agreed to go to meet them, so he took a horse and only ten men with him, but ordered 100 men to stay in the ship, other 200 men followed behind him secretly and told his men be alert at all time. Prince arrived in front of a big palace, he can see it was built by wood not by concrete and stone like his palace in his Kingdom, he saw about 1000 men in arms standing beside the palace look like waiting for someone. He realized that he couldn’t never win in battle with only his 200 men against 1000 men. So, he tried to be calm, be strong and be polite. The King and Queen came out of the palace, looked and walked around Prince with admiration, they met a handsome Prince, polite and courage, he came to meet them only with one horse and 10 men. The King and Queen invited Prince to go inside the palace and started to negotiate a truce, the deal was settled, the King told Prince it was his daughter Princess Nagi on the ship who fought against Prince, she got injured but managed to escape and now she’s getting better. The King and Queen told Prince to choose a place to stay and gave a permission to live on the island as long as he wished. Prince was very happy, returned back to the camp.  A few days later, Prince started to walk around the island alone looking for a place to build houses for his troops. When he arrived at a big tree of Tlok, he was so tired, so he decided to have a rest under the Tlok tree and admired a beautiful scenery, he felt so relaxing and felt asleep under the Tlok tree shade. After having a short nap, he woke up and wanted to return back to the camp, but the tide had risen not able to across, so he continued to stay under the tree waiting for the tide receding, so he could return back to the camp. The nightfall with the full moon, brilliant beams on the water, Prince looked at the moon and suddenly hearing a group of voices coming from the other side. Prince was curios moved quickly hiding behind the tree and looking for where the voices came from, he saw a young beautiful girl rising from the water accompany with a few beautiful young girls. The beautiful young girls pouring water on each other making the splash of water and laughing, their voices became so loud without knowing that they were watched by a Prince.  Prince felt in love with a young beautiful girl in the middle, so he can’t hide himself anymore, he came out of the hiding tree scaring other girls, the girls ran away leaving a young girl alone with Prince, that young girl wasn’t scared of Prince, she was topless just like those women whom Prince had met at the village. She was calm looking at Prince with gentle eyes. Prince pulled his dupatta (Scarf) to cover up her half-naked. They stared each other for a while under the shade of full moon, Prince was so in love with her, he smiled at her (That was the first time that Prince smiled since the date he left his Kingdom). He pulled her out from water, she took Prince’s hand and brought him to the palace where Prince had met the King and Queen of Naga. Prince had a doubt that she could be Princess Nagi, he was joy of happiness, but not so sure if the King and Queen will allow him to love their daughter.
